South Korea's suicide plague

Something that I always found telling about the differences between two distinctly different Asian cultures, was the fact that usually, when you read about Japanese suicide, you'll find the cause attributed to money or love or school failure. But when you read about Korean suicide, it seems to more often be about politics, or some other revolutionary cause. Here's an interesting story about the subject.

One fact that jumps off the page: suicide is the number one cause of death for men in their twenties in South Korea. That's not only sad but really startling. These young men are the future of Korea. Why do they feel that they have nothing to live for?
